Google became a verb for a reason

I look at my computer and I see a little dot connected to millions of other computers and servers around the world. A gateway to education, hobbies, shopping and even new relationships.
It dawned on me today that there are still around people who look at the same object and see a black or silver item that doesn’t quite match the photo frame they just purchased from IKEA.
The internet is obviously not a perfect creation. It is here though, and it will never go away. It is, in my opinion, more good than bad. The only thing to do with it is embrace it, befriend it, and use it.
With so much information readily available, ignorance is no longer easily pardonable. The barriers of costs and English knowledge have been knocked down. There are no more excuses.
So the next time you don’t know something, google it first, then ask a coworker. It will do wonders for both.

Life’s a bitch and then you die?

Everyone is miserable at work. We're all frowning, and snapping, and cursing. That gives me some relief. So it's not just me, I'm not crazy. And finally, I can stop faking engagement (not that anyone seemed to care about it anyway).

What can I say. People bring out stuff in us.

I had the most intense moment just now. My knees are still shaky. I was in the supermarket and for a second I thought I saw John. You don’t know John, but I know him and I’m sure he remembers me. John and I go waaay back. We have history. As my heart began to race, I took a second, courageous but what I hope to have been a discreet peek at the suspiciously looking man in the dairy section. I was relieved to see I was mistaken. John had presumably other business to attend this late Tuesday evening than choosing yoghurt.

And now I am compelled to tell you about John and I.
